Welcoming our Newest Lawyer, Nicholas Krakana!

Nicholas Krakana 2

“Navigating the legal system can be an intimidating prospect. I’m here to help my clients find practical, effective solutions that get them from where they are to where they want to be.”

We are excited to introduce our newest lawyer, Nicholas Krakana. After being born in Toronto and raised in Timmins, Nicholas graduated from the University of Western Ontario and the inaugural class at Lakehead University’s Bora Laskin Faculty of Law. He was called to the Ontario Bar in September of 2016.

Throughout law school, Nicholas worked at a well-known personal injury and medical malpractice firm in Timmins, Ontario, and subsequently worked as a lawyer at their Ottawa office after being called to the Bar. During that time, he litigated and successfully resolved many personal injury, long-term disability, and statutory accident benefits matters, including those involving catastrophic impairments. He was further involved in litigating complex medical malpractice matters, with a focus on obstetrical brachial plexus palsy birth injuries.

Nicholas is a solutions-oriented lawyer who understands the goals of his clients and advocates zealously to achieve them. Since 2016, he has successfully resolved complex legal issues for numerous clients.

When he isn’t lawyering, Nicholas can often be found trail running, touring the city on his bike, or hiking the Gatineau hills with his Husky. He is a strong proponent of being in nature, and of the healthy body, healthy mind philosophy, often getting some of his best thinking done while exercising.
