Commitment Beyond a Day: Truth and Reconciliation at Auger Hollingsworth

For Canada’s first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Auger Hollingsworth wants to do more than honour our Indigenous populations one day a year. And so, we committed to donating $500 to the Downie & Wenjack Fund for every new person who became a client between September 22 and October 22. We raised a total of $10,000 and the firm will be matching that amount for a total donation of $20,000. What is the Downie & Wenjack Fund? It’s a Canadian charity started by the late Tragically Hip frontman Gord Downie, in honour of Chanie Wenjack, that raises funds to promote ongoing cultural understanding and reconciliation in honour of our Indigenous populations.
