Serious Collision in Barrie’s South End

On October 22, 2024, emergency crews responded to a severe accident involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle at the intersection of Mapleview Drive West and Veteran’s Drive in Barrie’s south end. The crash, which occurred around 3:30 p.m., resulted in one person sustaining life-threatening injuries.

While police continue their investigation, details about the cause of the collision and potential charges remain unavailable. The intersection was temporarily closed to traffic as authorities worked to piece together what happened.
