Did the pandemic affect your work?
“I never worked remotely prior to Covid-19. I miss the social aspect of the office although I do like not having to get dressed up each day the in the morning and doing the commute especially depending on the weather. I am able to wake up, log in, and start working.”
What first attracted you to the law as a career?
“It’s never boring! The legal profession offers a diverse option with opportunities to work in many different areas of law, job stability, and you are always learning new things.”
Which TV program in your opinion does the best OR worst job of reflecting what legal life is really like?
“Better Call Saul is the best TV program of reflecting what legal life is really like. Of course, without the illegal activity. 😊”
If there is one place you could live in aside from where you are now, where would it be and why?
“I have always wanted to stay and live in Canada. I did move to British Columbia for a few years, but I like the fast pace of the city and always having something to do.”

Did the pandemic affect your work?
“The pandemic positively impacted my work as being a new mom I was able to balance my personal life much better. Working from home gave me more time to spend with my child.”
What first attracted you to the law as a career?
“The legal field is so vast! In singular degree with appropriate job experience can open so many avenues. I could do a lot more and be eligible for a wider job market. Plus, I can impact people’s lives and, in some way, help them.”
Which TV program in your opinion does the best OR worst job of reflecting what legal life is really like?
“None of the TV programs in my opinion even come close to portraying the realities of working in a legal field. I prefer legal documentaries based on landmark cases.”
If there is one place you could live in aside from where you are now, where would it be and why?
“The pandemic and living in a condo has me craving for open spaces. I would love to move to a cottage with plenty of space for my child.”

“…by making a to do list for my tasks for the week, so I can address them as per priority. Also, helps me have control over my time.”

Did the pandemic affect your work?
“At the start of the pandemic, I was hesitant to see how everyone would transition into this new unknown world. My biggest fear was for our clients. We went from meeting our clients in person to meeting them virtually. It is strange that 1.5 years later, this is now the new norm. With the help of technology, especially Zoom, we were able to seamlessly transition into this new era.”
What first attracted you to the law as a career?
“Growing up I remember always being fascinated with the legal field. I do not know where or when it started, but I always knew that the legal field was where I wanted to start and end my career. My high school and university years helped to make this a reality.”
Which TV program in your opinion does the best OR worst job of reflecting what legal life is really like?
“Believe it or not, but I actually do not watch TV shows. For better or for worse, the only TV I watch is hockey…Go Leafs Go!”
If there is one place you could live in aside from where you are now, where would it be and why?
“Seattle – not sure why, but it has been a city that has always intrigued me. Maybe I can leave the Leafs behind and become a Kraken fan!”
