Calla Rose has lived across Canada but decided to make her home here in Ottawa. She loves Ottawa for its beauty and connection to nature. On the weekends she can be found walking along the banks of the Rideau River with her German Shepherd.
Calla attended the University of Ottawa for her undergraduate degree where her studies focused on sociology and gender studies. She attended law school at Queen’s University where was part of the Queen’s Law Cancer Society, raising funds for several charities supporting cancer research. She also volunteered at the Queen’s Law Legal Clinic where she provided legal assistance to students and low income residents of Kingston. Following graduation, she articled at an Ottawa firm before working at Auger Hollingsworth, where she’s been ever since.
Calla has continued her dedication to giving back, both to her local community and abroad. She currently volunteers for her community association newspaper and each year organizes and donates to the Ottawa Food Bank and the Sharing and Caring Exchange. Calla also volunteers in Law Day events, such as mock trials with elementary students. In the past she has combined her love of the outdoors and giving back, by running in Law Day Fun Runs and a half marathon in Iceland to raise woman for a women’s shelter.
Calla brings that same dedication to her practice. Calla is committed to ensuring her clients are empowered throughout – from obtaining support throughout the rehabilitative process to ensuring they are fairly compensated. Her commitment to clients, her enjoyment of legal research, and her attention to detail are all reasons why Calla pursued law and settled on the practice personal injury. For these reasons, Calla decided to further her education and training while working full-time and in 2020 she received her LL.M from Osgoode Hall Law School. She feels privileged to be able to use these skills and training to represent her clients in all aspects of her practice.
