Email: chris.karpacz@ahinjurylaw.com

Upon graduating from Western Law in 2010, Chris was called to the Ontario bar in 2011 and has spent the entirety of his career in the civil litigation space. After articling at a prominent plaintiff side boutique firm, he spent the next eight years practicing for the defence, both in private practice and in-house at a large, global insurance company. Chris then stepped away from litigation, taking a leadership position as director for an insurance company specializing in the electrical distribution network in the province. Returning to his roots, Chris has spent the past five years practicing plaintiff’s side personal injury law.

With his varied professional experience, Chris is well suited to represent his clients most effectively, having gained insight into how insurance companies operate. In addition to appearing regularly before the Superior Court of Ontario, he has also represented clients before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), the License Appeal Tribunal (LAT), the Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal and the Human Rights Tribunal. His ability to work collaboratively while remaining a fierce advocate has garnered respect and appreciation from peers and clients alike.

Chris manages a diverse practice including motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip-and-falls, occupier’s liability, municipal negligence, and product liability. Regardless of the severity of injury or complexity of issues, he approaches each and every case with professionalism, passion, and a recognition of the importance to his clients of achieving a fair and equitable resolution.

When Chris is not practicing law, he enjoys camping with his family, golfing without his family, and spending time with Frank the dog.
