Car Accident near Kars, Ontario injured Adults and Children

OTTAWA ACCIDENT LAWYER – Three different vehicles were involved in a dramatic September 15 collision on Roger Stevens Drive near McCordrick Road near Kars, a rural town south of Ottawa.

The accident occurred at about 3:50 PM, and ended with a green Ford Taurus, silver Acura EL, and a work vehicle strewn facing various directions across the roadway. The Taurus’s occupants – a mother and her two children – were trapped inside the vehicle following the crash and had to be freed by firefighters.

The mother was taken by ambulance to the Ottawa Hospital’s Civic Campus with life-threatening head and internal injuries. Her children, strapped into car seats at the time of the accident, sustained injuries and were transported to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario for treatment.

The drivers of both the Acura and the Taurus were hospitalized and in critical condition as of Wednesday evening.

A police investigation is still underway.
